Command files can now be run from a Windows batch file.  Syntax is
        MEDLOG2K ddd:uuu/pass$cmd  where ddd=databank, uuu=user,
            /pass is optional password and cmd=command file name.

Define: when making duplicate (multiple)  new variables, retain the
          positions with zeros at the end.  e.g. VAR001, next VAR002, etc.
        New facility in Define to dump the dictionary into Excel.
        Maximum number of variables increase from 1500 to 2500.

Table index searching now case insensitive.

Form: The underline color (during data entry) can indicate the
        nature of the field (blue=time variant; green = invariant; fuchsia =
          local form variable).  !OPTIONS COLOROPT must be added to the form
            for this to be enabled.
       Form capacity increased to handle very large forms.
       Backspacing or Delete can now set field to missing (?).
       Search for content in tables now possible.  Surround search 
         string with asterisks for searching the selected index field.  Use pound
         signs for searching all text fields.  Result will show matching records.
       New table lookup functions added: 
          TBLNDXT for text elements and TBLNDXN for
              numerics.  See web site for details.
       New [!END] field allows better control over how a
             form terminates.  See web site for details.
       Enable tabs in Form Editor.  See web site for details.
       New image background capability add in Form.

       Options ENDOPT,CHANGESOPT,ABORTOPT added.
       Field specification POPUP "message" added. Input fields
             now use fonts matching the form.

Form Editor: test for wrapped lines added to Syntax Check.
             Allow more than 6 continuation lines (old limit).
 
ASCII:  increase max line length from 256 to 999.

Extract file capacity increased:  8000 variables (including transforms) 
          maximum.  Faster  transform processing.
        Extract suffixes 10R through 99R and 10P through 99P added.

Export: Allow max of 255 characters of notes in export to Excel.

Group:  Maximum number of groups increased from 1000 to 2000.

Report: Report names can be up to 40 chars long (old limit was 7).
        Report capacity increased to over 5000 variables/fields.
        Syntax checker (checks brackets, parens) added (letter too)
        New keyword DATESTAMP=yes/no, used to 
         turn off automatic datestamps or titles. (see manual)

Create: maximum vars in transposed file may be created in DBOpts. 
        Error messages are now highlighted in red.

Compute: Allow longer compute lines (250 chars).  Old limit was 130.

Cox regression: odds ratios and 95% conf. intervals now displayed.

Xtabs, Bargraph: new 2-tailed Fisher exact test added.

Audit log now includes changes to variables which
       are set by assignment (in fields section).
      New access log option.  See web site for details.
      Settings now include option for note logging.

Missing value tracking: Allow longer (40->60 chars) comments.

Add date/time to printing in Forms Designer.
Add print feature to system menu of almost all windows.
Databank options: only user with admin. password can set 
       certain options.
New print option to add operator initials to printouts.
New SAS Export format with longer SAS names.
