Learn how MEDLOG France Delivers Multimodal Logistics Solutions
A recent operation with Clasquin perfectly illustrates our approach. On September 25th, MEDLOG France was tasked with moving a Clasquin's empty mobile box, from Roissy CDG to MIT Paris Bruyères, and then onward to Rouen. The objective was free up warehouse space while ensuring smooth coordination for upcoming logistics operations.
A Smart Combination of Road and River Transport
To achieve this, our teams designed a multimodal logistics plan combining two complementary transport modes:
- Road: A geolocated MEDLOG truck handled the first leg of the journey, covering less than 100 km in just a few hours.
- River: From MIT, the mobile box was loaded onto a barge already carrying a large volume of containers, optimizing flow management and overall efficiency.
