Opened in 2025, our Savannah Cold Store brings advanced temperature-controlled infrastructure and technology to one of the United States key logistics gateways. Designed for frozen and chilled cargo, the facility strengthens our cold chain offering with the capacity and capabilities to support customers across import, export and domestic operations.
Strategically located in Rincon, Georgia near the Port of Savannah, our cold store combines temperature-controlled warehousing and blast freezing with rail access, drayage and integrated logistics solutions. The facility is USDA certified for cold storage and inspection, supporting coordinated import, export and inspection operations while helping maintain product quality throughout the cold chain.

MEDLOG Savannah is designed to support temperature-sensitive supply chains with flexible storage configurations and access to multiple transportation services through the MEDLOG network.
Our Savannah facility is equipped with the ATLAS blast freezing system and a 7,200 HP refrigeration system, delivering the largest blast freezing capacity in the US. With more than 1,200 blast positions and the capacity to process up to 3 million pounds of protein products within a 24-hour period, the facility is built for demanding, high volume cold chain operations.
The facility supports a wide range of protein products, including poultry, pork, beef and seafood, across import, export and domestic programs. Its advanced freezing capabilities preserve product quality, freshness and integrity while providing the capacity needed to manage large volumes of temperature sensitive goods.
Direct refrigerated rail access connects our cold store with domestic and long-haul distribution networks, providing an additional transportation option alongside trucking and drayage. With 42 loading docks with rail cargo capability, the facility supports high volume movements while helping customers manage transportation capacity and routing requirements.
Its location near the Port of Savannah brings port, cold storage and inland transportation capabilities closer together. For importers and exporters, this connectivity helps streamline the movement of temperature-controlled cargo between vessel arrival, storage and onward distribution.
