MEDLOG and CMLOG Expand Cold Store Network in China
This cold store is the third and largest facility in a shared network, which also includes two other cold stores located near China’s major ports of Tianjin and Ningbo. All three sites form part of MEDLOG’s cold store expansion along China’s coast, designed to support the growth of cross-border cold-chain import trade.
Advancing cold chain excellence in China
Strategically located in Lingang, Shanghai’s Special Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, the new facility is purpose-built to optimize China’s cold-chain import logistics and a rising global demand for fresh produce. It is equipped with advanced intelligent reefer technologies (iWMS, iWCS, AGV), and sets a benchmark for smart, standardized operation of domestic cold-chain warehousing enterprises.Offering both bonded and unbonded areas, the warehouse has a capacity of 80,000 tonnes, shortening the link between domestic warehousing and cross-border shipping. As beef is China’s leading import commodity, the new cold store is specifically tailored for the storage of frozen meat, as well as frozen and chilled seafood, dairy, fruit and consumer food products.

The cold store will strengthen China’s cold-chain logistics and boost cross-border imports of fresh produce.
