MEDLOG Italy Becomes GDP- and FSM-Certified, Joining MEDLOG S.A.
These certifications ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of sensitive goods throughout the supply chain. FSM (Food Safety Management System), aligned with ISO 22000, applies to food and beverage products, while GDP (Good Distribution Practice) follows EU directives 2001/83/EC and 2011/62/EC for pharmaceuticals.
MEDLOG first obtained GDP and FSM certification in 2023 after a comprehensive audit, with temperature-controlled transport management playing a key role in compliance.
With its new certification, MEDLOG Italy can now extend FSM and GDP-compliant protocols beyond port-to-port transport to include inland logistics, such as warehousing, terminal handling, and truck or rail transport.
